Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial audiovisual experience or a minimum of 3 years of quality control or training experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Independent worker.
  • Ability to identify and execute training needs and follow through with deliverables.
  • Clear understanding of signal flow and wiring techniques, including cable terminations.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business communications and documentation.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in written form to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm daily.
  • Must have a current DPS fingerprint card.
  • Must have a valid drivers license. performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive. The employee frequently is required to sit; walk; climb; use hands to type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand or walk for periods of time. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Core Tasks

  • Quality Control Certifications - Conduct certification audits on all assigned projects.
  • Strictly adhere to Immedia Installation Standards, report infractions to coordinator.
  • Reporting all passed certificates to the project team and uploading them to assigned system locations.
  • Reporting all failed certifications to the project team and direct supervisors with comprehensive notes for immediate corrective action.
  • Complete the scope of work as defined in the assigned task details. Any change must be approved by Immedia coordinator and/or customer.
  • Document any updated room name number as projects evolve from architectural drawings to final customer naming conventions.
  • Training – Develop and deliver project specific training and deliverables to the customer base for any assigned projects.
  • Create and deliver quick reference guides (QRG) per room and per project, utilize module database and create custom deliverables as required.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions both in person and remote for project customers as needed.
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing training for customer successors and assignees as needed throughout the lifecycle of the delivered projects as needed.
  • Arrive to scheduled locations promptly at scheduled time or notify customer and Immedia coordinator of the delay.
  • Maintain effective notes on all work.
  • Attend and participate in all departmental meetings.
Leadership and Attitude

  • Be solution oriented and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Be representative of Immedia’s values to customers and other trades.
  • Foster and maintain effective working relationships with customers, Immedia coordinators, project managers and sales team through clear and effective communication and pro-active problem solving.
  • Keep all customer communications positive and have Immedia’s best interest in mind. If unable to satisfy unhappy customers, refer to CET Manager.
